It is the same as the printing method used by most Macintosh programs. Note: You’ll be given an option of “Best,” “Faster,” or “Draft,” but the latter two will produce identical results. “ImageWriter II NLQ” will print your document with the near-letter-quality font built into that printer, and only works if you have an ImageWriter II attached (and selected). If you want the line breaks to reflect what you see on the screen, you must be working with the Monaco 9 font. Make sure the “HyperWrite Printer” file is in the same folder as the HyperCard program! “Selection Only” will print only that portion of your document that appears on the screen. It will print in the font shown, in a quality comparable to the Macintosh Standard “Faster” mode. If after starting this procedure you decide to cancel (with command-period), you may be left at an unfamiliar screen. Just click anywhere in the middle of the screen to get back to your document. “HyperCard Report” will print your document using HyperCard’s standard report format. You should select “Columns,” “With the current background,” and “Selected backgrounds,” and select “Text” in the scrolling window. Do not check either “Cards” or “Fields” at the bottom of the screen. Check your HyperCard manual for more information.
